Terms of Service
Last updated: September 4, 2026
These terms are the agreement between you and Peter Roumeliotis for using Roumora. They cover who may use the service, what you may publish, how Roumora Pro is billed, and how disputes are handled. Please read sections 12 through 15 carefully - they limit our liability and affect how claims are resolved.
1.Agreement
By creating an account or using Roumora, you agree to these terms and to our Privacy Policy. If you do not agree, do not use the service. If you are agreeing on behalf of a company, you confirm you have the authority to bind it.
2.Who may use it
You must be at least 13 years old. If you are under 18 you may use Roumora only with a parent or guardian’s permission, and you may not subscribe to Roumora Pro without their consent to the payment. You must not be barred from using the service under the laws of your country, and you must not be on a sanctions list or located in an embargoed region.
3.Your account
Keep your password confidential and your email address current. You are responsible for everything that happens under your account. We strongly recommend enabling two-factor authentication. Tell us at [email protected] immediately if you suspect unauthorized access. You may close your account at any time.
4.What Roumora is
Roumora is a library of AI skills published by its members. Every skill on the marketplace is free to browse, download, and use - we do not sell skills, creators do not charge for them, and no money changes hands between members. We are not the author or guarantor of any skill; members publish them and remain responsible for them.
The one thing we charge for is Roumora Pro, a subscription to the hosted AI assistant - higher usage limits, longer conversations, better models, and PDF attachments. That is a service we provide to you directly, and we are the seller of record for it.
5.If you publish skills
Your rights stay yours
You keep ownership of everything you publish. You grant us a worldwide, non-exclusive, royalty-free license to host, store, reproduce, display, and distribute your skill in order to operate and promote Roumora, and to grant other members the license described in section 6. This license ends when you remove the skill, except that copies members already downloaded remain theirs to use under section 6.
What you promise
You own the skill or have the rights to publish it; it does not infringe anyone else’s intellectual property, privacy, or other rights; it contains no malware, credential harvesting, hidden instructions, or exfiltration of user data; its description accurately reflects what it does; and it complies with section 7.
Publishing is free, and unpaid
Publishing costs you nothing, and it earns you nothing - Roumora has no paid skills and no creator payouts. You publish because you want your work used and credited, and we credit it: your name and profile appear on every skill you publish. If we ever introduce a way for creators to earn, it will be optional and we will ask you to accept new terms before it applies to anything of yours.
Removal
We may remove or unlist a skill that breaks these terms, fails a security scan, draws a valid infringement claim, or creates risk for other members. Where it is reasonable to do so, we will tell you why.
6.Using skills, and Roumora Pro
Your license to use a skill
Downloading or using a skill grants you a personal, non-transferable license to use it for your own purposes, including commercial ones, unless its creator has attached different terms to it. You may not republish a skill as your own, or redistribute it in a way that strips the creator’s attribution, without their permission. The creator keeps ownership - a free skill is not a skill without an author.
What Pro costs, and how it renews
Roumora Pro is billed monthly in advance at the price shown on our pricing page, and renews automatically each month until you cancel. We take payment through Stripe; card details go to Stripe and never reach our servers. If we change the price we will tell you by email at least 30 days before it applies, and you can cancel before then.
Canceling and refunds
You can cancel at any time from your settings. Canceling stops the next renewal and you keep Pro until the end of the period you have already paid for. We do not refund part-used months. If something went genuinely wrong - you were charged after canceling, or the service was unavailable for a sustained period - email [email protected] from your account address and we will put it right.
Nothing here removes a right you have under consumer law that cannot be waived.
Usage limits
Each plan includes a monthly allowance of assistant conversations, described on the pricing page. Allowances reset each billing period and do not roll over. We may apply rate limits to keep the service available for everyone, and we may adjust allowances with notice - but not retroactively within a period you have paid for.
7.Acceptable use
You may not use Roumora to:
- publish malware, backdoors, credential harvesters, or prompt injection designed to hijack another user’s AI session;
- exfiltrate data, API keys, or credentials from users or from the platform;
- infringe copyright, trademarks, patents, or trade secrets;
- publish sexual content involving minors, content that promotes violence or self-harm, or unlawful content of any kind;
- harass, threaten, impersonate, or dox anyone, including through direct messages;
- spam the marketplace, manipulate ratings, downloads, or reputation, or operate undisclosed duplicate accounts;
- scrape, crawl, or bulk-download the service outside of what we publicly permit;
- probe, breach, or circumvent our security, rate limits, or access controls;
- offer regulated professional advice - medical, legal, or financial - without the qualifications and disclosures the law requires.
8.AI output and content from others
Skills are written by other members, and the AI assistant generates text automatically. Output can be inaccurate, incomplete, or unsuitable for your situation, and it is not professional advice. Verify anything you intend to rely on. We do not review every skill or message before it appears, and we are not responsible for content our members publish.
9.Our intellectual property
The Roumora name, logo, site design, and software are ours and are protected by intellectual property law. These terms grant you no right to use our branding. If you send us feedback or suggestions, we may use them freely and without obligation to you.
10.Copyright complaints
If you believe something on Roumora infringes your copyright, send a notice to our designated agent with: your contact details, identification of the work, the URL of the material, a statement that you have a good-faith belief the use is unauthorized, a statement under penalty of perjury that your notice is accurate and that you are the owner or authorized to act, and your signature.
Send notices to our designated agent:
Peter Roumeliotis
DMCA Designated Agent, Roumora
20 Garvey Drive, Hauppauge, NY 11788, United States
+1 (631) 974-2862
We will remove infringing material, notify the member who posted it, accept counter-notices, and terminate the accounts of repeat infringers.
11.Suspension and termination
We may suspend or terminate your account if you break these terms, if we are required to by law, or if your use creates a serious risk to other members or to us. You may stop using Roumora at any time. When an account ends, the licenses other members hold in skills you published survive, as do sections 9 and 12 through 15.
12.Disclaimers
The service is provided “as is”
To the fullest extent the law allows, we disclaim all warranties, express or implied, including merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, and non-infringement. We do not warrant that the service will be uninterrupted or error-free, that skills will produce any particular result, or that content on the service is accurate. Some jurisdictions do not allow these exclusions, in which case they may not apply to you.
13.Limitation of liability
To the fullest extent the law allows, neither party is liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or for lost profits, revenue, or data. Our total liability for any claim relating to the service is limited to the greater of the amount you paid us in the twelve months before the claim, or one hundred US dollars.
Nothing here limits liability that cannot be limited by law, including for fraud or for death or personal injury caused by negligence. Consumer protection laws in your country may give you rights these terms cannot override.
14.Indemnification
You agree to indemnify and hold Peter Roumeliotis harmless from claims, damages, and reasonable legal costs arising from the content you publish, your use of the service, or your breach of these terms.
15.Governing law and disputes
These terms are governed by the laws of the State of New York, United States, without regard to conflict-of-law rules. The state and federal courts located in New York County, New York have exclusive jurisdiction over any dispute, and both parties consent to that venue, except that either party may seek injunctive relief in any court that can grant it.
We do not require arbitration. If you are a consumer, this section does not take away the right to bring a claim in the courts of the country you live in, or to rely on the consumer protection law of that country where it applies to you.
16.Changes
We may update these terms. For material changes we will give notice by email or on the site before they take effect, and continuing to use Roumora after that means you accept them. If you do not accept, close your account.
